Opting for an Inside Mount allows you to showcase your window’s trim, but keep in mind that there will be a light gap of 0.4 inches on either side of the shade to ensure smooth fabric movement. If you prefer to eliminate this light gap when lowering the shades, consider the Outside Mount.

Selecting the Perfect Size

To choose the right size, measure your window beforehand. For an Inside Mount, the window width and height correspond to the blind’s dimensions. For example, if your window measures 23 inches in width by 72 inches in height, your blinds would also be 23 inches wide and 72 inches high. For an Outside Mount, you should add at least 4 inches to both the width and height measurements.
